Leading the industry! 2021 World Latitude Caffe Prize Revealed Leading Coffee Brands on 10th June.

On the afternoon of June 10 in the Netherlands, the World Latitude Caffe Prize President announced the 2021 latest award of the World Latitude Caffe Prize. It is the honorable time that a coffee brand has appeared in a high-profile way on the international stage.

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the 2021 World Latitude Caffe Prize ceremony was therefore called off. Instead, the winner announcement was released on World Latitude Caffe Prize (W.L.C.P.) official website, honoring businesses that promoted and produced the relative coffee industry in the world.

What makes the World Latitude Caffe Prize (W.L.C.P.) different from all other coffee competitions is that W.L.C.P.'s evaluate the value of the product itself so that every product can be evaluated by international experts and the unique brilliance of every brand can be highlighted by W.L.C.P.'s quality label in every channel.

The results were unveiled after 143 evaluations of 2,326 products from 67 countries. The evaluation results of submitted products/coffee appliance/stylish cafe concluded as follows – 8 Latitude Awards items, 34 Bronze Latitude Awards items, 66 Silver Latitude Awards items, 95 Golden Latitude Awards items, and 22 items anonymously nominated by jury members were commended with the Coffee Honor of the year Award. The winners are across Asia Pacific, Europe, North and South America, Africa, and the Middle East. Well-known awarded restaurants include Gevalia (Sweden), JACOBS (Germany), BOSS COFFEE (Japan), Cuisinart (America), Capsulier (Hong Kong), and so on. The winners proved that from planting to roasting, from harvest to the cup of coffee in your hands, they are committed to selecting the most environmentally friendly value and highest-grade gold coffee beans to surround everyone. The award-winning coffees from the WLCP certification are the best private label coffee in each continent.

The World Latitude Caffe Prize's jury was composed of a GSA committee, founded in Europe, the committee has now become a global organization promoting the concept of green Earth as well as issues such as heritage, life, and culinary culture, etc. The committee members consist of academics from various disciplines and influential leaders such as Michelin starred chefs, world-renowned oenologists, university professors, nutritionists, and dieticians.

The evaluation was carried out in an overall way from organoleptic, chemical, and bacteriological qualities of a product to the intrinsic qualities and communication with the consumer as well as the philosophy of the European Law on food safety. The result of the evaluation is calculated based on the average points awarded by each jury member in a totally independent manner before awarding a product a latitude, bronze latitude, silver latitude, golden latitude or the coffee honor of the year award.
