Brand Story
Cafecom’s goal is to show the world that Ecuador produces the best coffee in the world.
The founder, Vinicio Dávila, began learning about coffee and coffee production at age 19 from his family. He started off in the coffee industry delivering green coffee beans from his hometown in the mountains of Loja province, Ecuador, to the coastal city of Guayaquil, where the big coffee producers were located.
Most importantly, with the improvements that were made, coffee from Loja became more valuable and improved the lives of the people in his community.
Vinicio continued to trade green coffee beans to the coffee roasters in Ecuador until 2005. Coffee from Loja became highly prized, and Vinicio decided that he would start a coffee roasting company, and build his own consumer brand, Cafecom. This ensured that the high-quality coffee beans were roasted to perfection.
For the last 20 years, Cafecom has been working hard to enhance and promote positive coffee culture in Ecuador, and now Cafecom is bringing one of the best coffees in the world the United States.
