In 2013, Mr. 陈志煌, the founder of Fika Cafe, went to the North European countries to participate in the competition.

He awarded the 2013 Nordic Barista Cup double champion. He was the first champion outside the North European countries. The word "Fika" in Swedish means "drink coffee and rest together".
